Go Dry
About the Go Dry challenge
What is the Go Dry challenge?
Go Dry is a fundraiser that challenges you to go alcohol-free to kick-start the new year. It helps you get healthy while raising funds to make an impact for people affected by cancer.
Since 2016, the Go Dry challenge for the Canadian Cancer Society has inspired hundreds of thousands of people across the country to go dry and take the challenge, raising over $15M dollars to support people affected by cancer.

General sense of well being
Better quality of sleeping

More energy

Where does the money go?
Proceeds from Go Dry will benefit the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) to fund the most promising life-saving research in Canada and provide a compassionate, nationwide support system so no one has to face cancer alone.
Giving up alcohol for a month is a small sacrifice to make to help people affected by cancer, and it will benefit you too!
Taking part in Go Dry also gives you the chance to focus on yourself – you’ll notice your own drinking patterns and the value of a healthy, balanced lifestyle.
