Michaela Schweitzer

This year, I am participating in Go Dry again in honour of all those I have known who have been affected by cancer. Most prominent in my fundraiser this year is my mother, whose life was taken by this awful disease in October 2019. My mother was a strong, brave, and beautiful woman, and the most incredible mother to my siblings and I. I miss her every day.

Participating in this fundraiser last year allowed me to share this story with others while raising funds for the Canadian Cancer Society. I am excited to be able to do so again this January.
